MUMSHAYNET OPINION
GETTING TO KNOW YOU
As some of you may have seen, MumsHaynet got a cute-as-a-button, brand-spanking-new member of the team this week – a beautiful foal born to rescue cob, Trudy.
Those of you who follow Trudy’s story will know already that she completely landed on her feet when Kathryn and hubby Patrick gave her a home for life, but a baby was nothing they had factored into the equation.
Thankfully, given Trudy’s young age, she gave birth with no complications and both mum and son are doing well. The only probably now, what to name the little fella!
To that end, Kathryn is welcoming all suggestions, so hit us with your best monikers!
Similarly, we are always on the lookout for new ideas to make this site as good as it can be for as many horse enthusiasts as possible.
From the start, we wanted MumsHaynet to be a fully inclusive place for horse lovers to lose themselves in for an hour or two.
We created pages devoted to horse basics, a one-stop source of information for those at the absolute start of their horse journey.
We enlisted an editorial team of experienced professionals to bring you real-life stories of real-life horse owners.
We created a platform for you to have ‘Your Say’ because – as you know – many of us horsey-types are fairly opinionated.
We included a free jobs page which we will expand and work on over time if it proves to be something the people want.
And we are currently experimenting with new ways to up the fun factor.
Remember, this is your site as much as ours and we can only make it work if we give you what you want – so let us know what floats your equestrian boat and we’ll see what we can do.
In the meantime, contact us with your name suggestions for Trudy’s foal – and ride safe.
